Circus is a way to create a space for pathways of expression and thought. It shows the impossible and daring can be done, right before your eyes.
My name is Sophia Martel. I’m a 21 year old circus coach and performer; with a love for collaborating, storytelling and self expression through movement and circus arts. I hail from rural Vermont and have been involved with the circus since the ripe age of 4.
I graduated from both the New England Center for Circus Arts professional training program and the Sellam Circus School’s professional training program. I have performed in different circus companies throughout New England and Nevada. Such as performing in NECCA’s annual Circus Spectacular, the Cirque Us benefit show and at Burning Man in Black Rock City for both solo and group pieces
